Ninety percent of the students do homework every day, only ten percent of the students do homework once or twice a week. Eighty percent of the students use the Internet every day. The other twenty percent of the students use it at least three or four times a week. Most students use it for fun and not for homework. The results about playing sports is also interesting. Thirty percent of the students play sports every day. Twenty percent of the students do it once or twice a week. Fifty percent of the students do it three or four times a week.

Tt is known to us that the exam is the main method to measure the students'knowledge in school.But nowadays this method is almost be-coming the only way to judge the students'ability and knowledge.
If this method is over-used,I believe it will do us more harm than good.For one thing,too many exams keep the students from reading widely,because the students are forced to prepare the lessons to be examed.Their knowledge can only be narrowed within few text-books taught in class.For another,the exam itself encourages rigid memoriza-tion instead of initiating the students'creativtiy and individual thinking which will be of great importance in their future work.
So we can conclude that too many exams are not good to the stu-dents.Some measures should be taken to lessen the students'burden.Remember the main purpose of the exam is to urge and encourage the students to learn more.
我們知道考試是學(xué)校檢查評定學(xué)生知識水平的主要方法。如今這種方法幾乎成了判斷學(xué)生能力與知識水平的唯一手段了。
