Last month in Paris, a French company auctioned two bronze sculptures ---- a rat’s head and a rabbits head captured from China, which has aroused great public concern in China.
As is known to all, the two bronze animal heads were made during the Qing Dynasty to decorate Yuanmingyuan. In 1860, the British and French troops broke into Beijing and burned down the royal garden, taking away millions of Chinese art works, including the two head relics.
The Chinese government is strongly against this auction and has repeatedly asked for the free return of them according to the international laws. At the same time, the Chinese people have taken actions, too. Some people even flew to France, trying to stop the selling. However, the French company just wouldn’t listen.
In my opinion, the auction should be strongly condemned. Not only has it hurt the feelings of the Chinese people but also it brought shame to France. Last week, we did research into how laid-off workers get their new jobs. We had a discussion in three groups and then began our research separately.
Group One surfed on the Internet and learned that most of the laid-off workers had already got their new jobs. In the vocational training centre, the students in Group Two were told that there were five training courses for laid-off workers. After training, they began working as repairers, cooks, typists, household workers and salespersons. The other students interviewed some laid-off workers who had got new jobs. A woman said, “With the help of the city government, I’ve found my job.”

Nowadays,social experience has increasingly been put into a significant position in jobhunting. As the result, some people advocate that college students should enhance their social experience instead of putting emphasis on academic studyonly. And I am in favor of the above view that it is good to enhance our social experience.

There are a few reasons accounting for my opinion. First of all, there is no denying that social experience makes a great contribution to our job hunting because we are usually asked to tell these experiences or information when seeking jobs.In addition, enhancing social experience is a good way to increase our knowledge and broaden our horizon. The more social experience we collect, the easier for us to understand various people and things. What is more, it is also beneficial for seeking our interest and choosing our occupation. These experiences we have collected will offer information and direction for our choice in occupation and friendship establishment.
我的觀點的幾個原因。首先，不可否認的是，社會經驗為我們找工作做出了很大貢獻因為在我們找工作的時候經常要求講述這些經驗或信息。此外，增加社會經驗是增加我們的知識，開闊我們視野的好方法。我們獲得更多的社會經驗，我們就更容易了解不同的人和事物。更重要的是，它也有利于我們尋找興趣和選擇自己的職業。我們獲得的這些經驗在擇業和建立友誼中會為我們提供信息和方向。
Therefore,it is good and wise to enhance our social experience. As college students, we should grasp each chance to exercise ourselves and experience various things aswell as try some new things so that we can understand various people and the society better.
