　　英語對我來說是一件苦差事，那些淘氣的字母怎么也鉆不進我的腦子里。

　　今天下午要上英語課時，老師在黑板上寫了一組英語單詞是“raining cat sand dogs”,讓我們講一講它的意思。我低下頭思索著：cats,dogs是“貓”和“狗”的復數形式，表示“許多貓”和“許多狗”，raining是“雨”的意思。合起來是什么呢？我正在冥思苦想，有同學舉起說說：“天上掉下來很多貓和狗�！鳖D時教室里的同學們哄堂大笑起來，互相交頭接耳，都在討論這個詞語的意思，最后還是老師解開了謎團。老師說：“同學們英語學得還可以，記住了每個單詞的含義。”這幾個單詞合起來的意思是傾盆大雨。英語和漢語一樣，一些單詞和單詞組合起來有特殊的含義、固定的用法，就像漢語的成語、諺語似的。剛才老師說的這幾個單詞合起來，就不是單個兒的意思了，而是“傾盆大雨”的意思。

　　李琦——我的英語老師。初次之見，李老師的音容笑貌，宛如一支燒得滾燙發紅的烙鐵，便深深地印上我的心頭。

　　爽朗灑脫的性格，朗朗有力的嗓音和永遠嚴肅的瞳仁中，卻不乏一絲母性的慈愛；微挺的鼻梁上，架著一副紅框眼鏡，圓圓的秀氣臉龐，中等微胖的身材，在初次見面就擲地冰寒，說話絲毫不留情。俗話說得好，嚴師出高徒。雖然我不是那么喜歡這種方式，也不那么提倡，可是我十分欣賞這種傳統的`教學方式，這樣同學們也會將注意力更加集中在課堂的學習上，也讓課上喜歡開小差的同學聞風喪膽，從而使學習提高并且還有良好的自覺性。

　　聽說李老師在藝術上也頗有見解，曾領導過學校的英語合唱團參加過許多大大小小的比賽，并且取得優異成績。而且Mrs.李在教師圈中也具有魅力的人氣，是位平易近人的老師，

　　在往后的日子里，我要再接再厲學習英語，因為我是那么地尊敬我的英語老師——Mrs.李。
