The knowledge we gain from books and formal education enables us to learn about things that we have no opportunity to experience in daily life. We can study all the places in the world and learn from people we will never meet in our lifetime, just by reading about them in books. We can also develop our analytical skills and learn how to view and interpret the world around us in different ways. Furthermore, we can learn from the past by reading books. In this way, we won’t repeat the mistakes of others and can build on their achievements.
Practical experience, on the other hand, can give us more useful knowledge. It is said that one learns best by doing, and I believe that this is true, whether one is successful or not. In fact, I think making mistakes is the best way to learn. Moreover, if one wants to make new advances, it is necessary to act. Innovations do not come about through reading but through experimentation. “濤濤，在讀啥玩意呀？”奶奶干完活在一旁好奇地問。“呀，都學上英語啦，咱當年都沒聽過這玩意兒。”啊！我靈機一動，既然奶奶沒學過，我就教她一些簡單的單詞，讓奶奶也洋氣一把。“奶奶，我教您怎么樣？”“好啊好啊！”那咱們就快開始吧！
哈哈，沒想到我也能當老師了，我在紙上工工整整地寫了1-10這幾個英語單詞，“奶奶同學”則乖乖地坐在邊上，等待著“上課鈴聲”的響起。我清清嗓子開始了我的“第一堂課”。“奶奶同學，我現在教你1-10的英文單詞，先跟我讀“1，ONE”。“汪”。“不是汪，是ONE！”“ONE”“對了”，雖然第一個單詞教得有點坎坷，但我還是把奶奶“教”會了，我這個老師當得還很欣慰。“接下來我們讀2，TWO。”“啥，兔子？”OH，MYGOD。我都快噴飯了。“哎呀呀，不是兔子，是TWO。”我強壓著怒火，心平氣和地糾正奶奶的錯誤。“兔”，我吐血，咋還是錯的呢？“TWO，TWO，TWO，是TWO啊！”息怒，息怒，別嚇著學生，學生難免也會犯錯，在再說，是初學。“不是兔，跟我學，是T-W-O”“兔——”咱無語了。
經過N次的練習，奶奶終于修成正果，勉勉強強算通過了。呼，我的娘呀，要是真有老師碰到這樣的學生，還不得崩潰了。接著我又教了三、四、五、六……。經過我嘔心瀝血的教導下，奶奶的發音終于能和英語粘上一點邊了，雖然有時我常常被氣得上躥下跳。好了，該輪到學“七”了，“七讀SEVEN”。“啥，賽文，這賽文不是你弟弟看的奧特曼嗎？”我靠，我真是自嘆不如，連我都沒想到，奶奶居然有這么豐富的聯想能力，佩服，佩服……
終于，我們把這些單詞學完了，我白發也快出來了。“奶奶同學，現在你把單詞一一復習一遍吧。”“汪——兔，賽文——，”我一聽，快瘋掉了，怎么又回到了起點？暈！
我這個老師只好舉雙手投降啦！

20xx年暑假媽媽給我報了一個英語輔導班，愛學習的我當然是欣然接受！想想在英語輔導班學習的日子，發生的和在學校上課不一樣的幾件事，我可是一直記憶猶新的！
特殊的學生
在我們這個英語輔導班里，包括我媽媽在內有五位媽媽一直和我們一起學習，這幾位媽媽上課認認真真聽講，仔仔細細做筆記，就連我們復習單詞用手比劃著寫，這幾位媽媽也舉起大手和我們一起比劃，教我們英語的李老師經常讓我們以媽媽們為榜樣！并把這五位媽媽稱之為“特殊的學生”！
坐在教室最后邊的學生
只要是周六日我們上課，在教室的最后邊總是坐著幾個我們前一個輔導班的學生，你不知道怎么回事吧？有的是上課聽寫錯的.多，有的是家庭作業完成的不好，李老師對這樣的學生是當天的錯一定要當天糾正！一般都是趁著我們朗讀或同坐之間口語對話時，去給他們一對一輔導，直到他們都會了才算過關。
一模一樣的錯誤答案
有一天周六，我們輔導班考了AB兩張卷子，有兩位同坐的同學有兩道題錯的地方一樣，而且是一模一樣的錯誤答案，聰明的李老師下課把他們倆都留下，給他們講了很多道理，并告訴他們“學習不能自己糊弄自己，爸爸媽媽為了讓你們對英語知識掌握的更牢固些，才額外花錢讓你們來學習，如果你們不想學，還不如就別花這個冤枉錢，你們若不改這個惡習，我把學費退給你們，以后不要來了。”李老師的話像敲響的警鐘，以后的很多次考試，這樣的事情再也沒發生過。
不舉手的回答問題
和我們在學校上課一樣，李老師在課堂上提問題，都是要求我們舉手回答，不一樣的是李老師搞突然襲擊，有時竟然偏偏叫不舉手的同學回答，李老師自然是有她自己獨到的教學方法，“我就是想看看這些不舉手的學生究竟哪些地方不會？是不敢說英語口語不行？還是知識掌握的不全面？”就是李老師不定時的突然襲擊，我們都自覺地上課認真聽講，老師提的問題我們都認真對待，有時老師竟然找不到不舉手的同學。
這次期末英語考試，我們英語輔導班二十多名學生，都取得了優異的成績，李老師謙虛的說，這么好的成績，是我們自己努力的結果！
我喜歡英語輔導班！在英語輔導班發生的那些事會永遠留在我記憶的深處！
