The reason that I like English so much is that I can broaden my vision. Before I learned English, I only cared about the things in our country, I even refused to know more about the foreign country, because I thought all of them were bad things. But when I learned English, I started to learn that foreign culture had their charm.

我喜歡的節(jié)日有很多，有清明節(jié)、有端午節(jié)、有兒童節(jié)、有中秋節(jié)，但我最喜歡的就是春節(jié)了。
除夕夜，街上“劈劈啪啪”的鞭炮聲接連不斷，空中閃爍著耀眼的火花，家家戶戶燈火通明，金黃色、黃綠色的窗戶，在忽明忽暗、忽燃忽滅花中，好象同時打開的電視機，在播放精彩的節(jié)目。
我站在六樓的陽臺上，放眼望去，除夕夜晚的天空格外亮，許多色彩繽紛的煙花在天空中閃亮著，有的時候好像還要把天籠照住似的，常常是這里炸開了，還沒等落下就又升起了幾個，然后再炸開、再升起……有的'煙花以閃電般的速度，十個十個的往上躥，在空中炸開，傾瀉而下，好像在下一場美麗的流星雨，又好似一條大瀑布，還真有點“飛流直下三千尺”的感覺呢!我的心情格外爽朗，這真是“爆竹聲聲辭舊歲，家家戶戶迎新春”。
