蠟燭對現今時代的人們視微不足道。雖然蠟燭是平凡的，可是它的功用非常偉大。
Candles are of little importance to people of today's age. Although the candle is ordinary, its function is very great.
每當電源中斷時，人們都用蠟燭以借光來照亮四周。當電源恢復后，蠟燭頭上的小火苗漸漸熄滅了。用完了，人們就把可憐的它丟進垃圾桶。幾乎都忘了蠟燭犧牲自己的小生命給了大眾光明的貢獻。
When the power is cut off, people use candles to light up the surroundings. When the power supply was restored, the small flame on the head of the candle went out gradually. When it's finished, people throw it into the garbage can. Almost all of them forget the contribution of candles to the public light at the expense of their own lives.
每年佳節慶典，人們都不會忘記使用蠟燭。比如說，中秋節，新年，元宵節等。在一片漆黑時，五彩繽紛的光明被燈籠照亮得燈火通明。
People don't forget to use candles at the festival every year. For example, Mid Autumn Festival, new year's day, Lantern Festival and so on. When it was dark, the colorful light was illuminated by the lantern.
此外，每個貧窮的人都會在雨時或冬季食用那個不可或缺的東西——蠟燭。在寒冷的.人們也是需要蠟燭以取暖。
Besides, every poor person will eat the indispensable thing - candle in the rain or in winter. People in the cold also need candles to keep warm.
雖然蠟燭一生的性命十分短暫，但是輝煌的。因此，我們應該向蠟燭學習它那偉大的精神，讓我們的生活更精彩，更有一意義！
Although candle life is very short, but brilliant. Therefore, we should learn from candle its great spirit, so that our life is more exciting and meaningful!
